Keeping true to the Rules of RobotOps, we have developed a command line interface, Gort, to streamline interacting with devices across different robotics frameworks. Gort provides tools to scan for connected devices, upload firmware, and more. The Gort installation is separate from any framework, allowing you to use it to program devices with the Firmata firmware on a variety of different robotics frameworks.
